Surroundings

La “Cumbre del Sol” (Mountain of the Sun), also known as the Green Oasis of the Costa Blanca, is situated between Valencia and Alicante on the territory of the municipality of Benitachell and surrounded by green pine trees and near to the clear blue Mediterranean sea. From its height of 445 m it is overlooking the resorts of Moraira, Calpe and Altea in the south and Denia and Javea in the north. One might even see Ibiza at a distance of about 65 miles (about 105 km) if the sky is clear. La Cumbre shows the best and most varied sea views of the Costa Blanca. Thanks to its protected southern location, the area is having one of the mildest climates in the Mediterranean: sunny mild winters and hot, but thanks to a cool breeze, always pleasant summers.
